Children will enjoy joining in making all the sounds as you read along. Each page has plenty of detail to explore including a little bird with a twig who is caught up in all the hustle and bustle but does make it safely back to its nest. A totally fun book from start to finish, one to read at any time of day but perhaps not at bedtime!

Review by The Bottom Shelf
The illustrations are bright, bold portray readily recognisable noise-makers, while the text is just the sound that is made, making it an easy tell-yourself story that will encourage those early reading behabiours.

The city is absolutely full of noise, and this is shown through the fun of this book. The comic illustrations will grab the reader’s attention seeing the overlooking buildings, almost bending over the roads, watching what is happening. The few people seen in the illustrations points to the idea of the car as king in our cities. Faces peer out of the apartment buildings, a few people manage to wander the streets, and the faces of some of the drivers tell a story in themselves.
